I migrated panel from ProTool to WinCC and then to TIA Portal.

But I can't migrate the PLC Step 7 project.

There is an error:

"Option package(s) PROTOOL missing in STEP 7 version V5.6 + SP1."

It is impossible to install ProTool together with TIA Portal in Windows 10.

I think the HMI project is integrated with Step 7 PLC project, and for that reason, I can't migrate it in TIA.

After removing the panel and compiling the project, the problem persists.

Is there any solution for that?

You probably receive that annoyong message because the Protool project was integrated in Step 7.

I suggest that you look at Umencho's answer in the following discussion use the his suggestions to remove the Protool application from Step 7, then compile the Step 7 project so that it does not search for it any more.
