I am trying to job change a cognex camera from a 317F-2 PN/DP. I have installed the .GSD for the camera and can communicate with the camera (take camera offline/online, send data). However when i take the camera offline and move the job number into the output word for the camera jobs i get the "job failed" bit. Attached is the manual i used to set this up and the PLC program. See chapter 4 and the section labeled "Job control". Any ideas?

I have found my problem, is was sending more than a byte to the camera for job change. |
