keep a output on when the cpu stop

S7 300/400 or others?Tell us more about the hardware platform? In the 2 first cases as I mentioned, it is possible to determine status of an output channel when the CPU is in STOP.But while start up OB10X and then in RUN logic controls the outputs.

We need order numbers.But that is generally possible.Provide order numbers of CPU and DO card to give you instructions.In device configuration, that is possible in properties of DO.For other behavior, in Run should write program.

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2025 Posts: 12330 Rating: (2702)	Hello Adrian; To add to Hamid's post, each DO module has a different parameter set, some accept a substitute output value, others do not, as you can see in the attachement below, taken from this manual: SIMATIC S7-300 S7-300 Module data So we need to know the exact part number of your DO module, or you can look the information up by yourself in the manual. The substitute value, if available, is set through the module parameters, in the HWConfig editor. There are no OBs that cover this functionality.
