Good Morning All,

I recently started at a new company that uses keyence data readers, they are new to me and I am having some difficulty setting up communication via Profinet to a CPU3152dp using a scalance switch.

I installed the support package, set up IP adresses on both sides, along with subnet masks.  I am no longer getting any errors on the Camera's side, but I have a BF and SF on my CPU, furthermore if I view my hardware online I can see that there is no connection to the Camera.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

What CPU do you have exactly? 315-2DP has no Profinet interface. Do you also have a CP343-1?

Profinet-communication works over the names of the devices. You have to assign the same name to the device what you projected in HW-config.

Which enginieering SW do you use? Step7 5.5 or TIA Vxx?

There is a CP module connected yes, on this installation I am using Step7 v5.5, I will go and verify if device names are the same on both sides.

hi Werner,

with a CP as PN-controller, you need also the blocks PNIO_SEND and PNIO_RCV.
