KTP 600 BASIC COLOR DP

Hello experts, i recently started using simatic step7 v5.5 and wincc felxible 2008 spd3. I am able to load a ladder logic program as well as smulate both the wincc simulation and OB ladder logic on the software simulator. The problem comes only when i want to load the wincc display in the KTP 600 HMI. I am able to download and run the plc (s7-300) and it works fine but the HMI does not seem to load.

What i do : for PLC i use a USB cable (from pc) -> to the PLC (MPI)

for the HMI i use the serial port i.e RS232 protocol and Serial output from the pc to the HMI input

Kindly tell me where i am doing wrong.

Any further info can be given at demand.
