In case of 1200 CPU we can password protect READ/WRITE access in CPU properties. likewise is there an option for HMI.

What exactly do you want to protect in this case? Do you want that nobody should change a value in a picture f. e. or do you want to protect the control panel (changing panel settings,...)?
