Hello guys, 

I'm trying to connect to a PLC by using a port forwarding software, and i reached to connect many times to a PLC S7-1500 without particular issues.

But now, i need to connect to it's KTP 700 Siemens touch panel that is connected to the same profinet network too;

To do this, i need to know the ethernet port used by this touch panel.

I looked in the siemens data sheet and in the user manual, but there's nothing about ports or ethernet parameters a part the IP and the subnet mask.

So, anyone of you knows what port these kind of touch panels use to communicate via ethernet network?

The port used by the PLC S7-1500 is the 102, i found it with "Wireshark", but cannot use it for the touch panel too because have no one here at moment.

Can you help me?

Just tried each of the ports, but it keeps denying me the access to download the new pages of the HMI.

Question, the port 102 is used by S7 to configure and program, why it shouldn't work? I can connect to the PLC and manage it, but i can't with the HMI.

Really out of ideas...

Hi,

You say you are using a "port forwarding program". Are you using NAT to forward an external ip address to an internal ip address or NATP to forward external ipaddress:port to internal ipaddress:port?

In the panel, have you entered the router/gateway address of the internal ip subnet?

If not, then you will not get the reply from the panel.
