KTP400 communication same project new PLC version

grego_l Experienced Member Joined: 6/25/2009 Last visit: 3/17/2025 Posts: 37 Rating: (5)	Hello everyone I have small TIA project which originally was develop for PLC: S7 1200 214-1AG31-0XB0 and HMI: KTP400 basic mono PN 647-0AA11-3AX0 There is new PLC version S7 1200 214-1AG40-0XB0. I changed PLC and accordingly updated project. Now what I noticed is that HMI programmed with project with PLC 214-1AG40-0XB0 doesn't work with project which contain PLC 214-1AG31-0XB0 and the other way around. Is there a way to avoid this that I could interchange HMIs between machines programmed with old and new PLC versions? Thank you
