I am using a KTP400 HMI and WinCC Basic v13 with TIA Portal v13 SP1. 

I have an issue when I add a Recipe View v2 to my hmi screen and when I navigate to the different recipes though the UI, the data begins to flicker on the screen and toggles back and forth very quickly between the current recipe and the one i just selected.  The only way to get it to stop is to press the Save button or power cycle the HMI.  This also makes it impossible to scroll through the list of available recipes while the flicker is occuring.

Ignor the Mouse flickering as that is just the recording software, but the concern is the data displayed in the grid which flickers and locks up my HMI.

did you do a full compile of the HMI project (software)?
(You could try deleting the IM Folder, if it still doesn't work.

Are you sure there is no other function in the PLC writing into your recipe tags?

I have already tried a full compile, I am attempting at this moment to delete the rename/delete the IM folder and test again.  But there are no other functions writing to the recipe tags.  The tags are in a DB and the only other logic which addresses them is used for reading only.  As you can see from the video there are variables there which set the position of a servo an boolean values which determine whether another process will or not occur but nothing is writing back to the DB from the logic, only reading. 

UPDATE:  This did not fix the issue.  Also I should note that this issue occurs just by selecting the different recipe's from the list, I do not have to press any of the buttons to download to PLC or Save or anything.  Just by selecting the initial recipe from the list, then selecting another one the flickering error will occur.

It lhav ea suggestion. Please do the following test to show if I´m right:

Create a new DB in the PLC and use a new Tag for the Dataset Number or Name in this DB.

Then look in the Properties of the Recipe view  at the Tag for the  Recipe Data Record. Use the new Tag from the new DB.

Then do the test again.

Is there the same flicker, if not then in your PLC Program the Tag for the Datarecord will be overwritten and I suppose at Value Change Event of the Old Tag is also an Action so you have an Endles loop.

FYI this worked for me.

I was able to get the flickering to stop and it seems like the HMI performs a bit faster now too.

Can you try to explain better what was happening?
