KTP400 remote view (VNC)(Tia portal)

Hi,

i'm trying to remote view a screen of a KTP400 HMI on my laptop, is this posible?

Normaly i use a B&R powerpanel. The powerpanel is standerd equiped with a VNC cliënt so it's rather easy to view the display on a laptop. 

Now i'm new to Siemens and Tia Portal so i don't know how this works. Is there a way to instal a VNC server/cliënt on the KTP400 HMI? Or is there an other way to view and control the HMI with a laptop.

Please could somebody tell me how I should do this?

there are different possibilites. They depend on the type of your panel.

Is it a KTP400 Basic or a KTP400 Comfort?

Depending on the type you can use the Webserver, Sm[at]rtServer or a VPN Connection.

If you have a comfort panel (or one of these),  you can use the Sm@rtServer service to remote control your panel. This service is not availiable with basic panels.
I'm not sure about the other services in connection with basic panels.
