KTP600 and TIA V13 no communication

GaJEnDrA D S Bronze Member Joined: 8/9/2011 Last visit: 11/1/2023 Posts: 324 Rating: (19)	Hi all, I have (KTP600 basic mono pn) which is already loaded with V11 project. Now I have New CPU (FW V4.0) Loaded with V13 project. (1214C-DC/DC/Rly). Communication is not happening between these two. showing #### on display. I have just changed the Access method to Absolute in HMI tag table and the above said combination is working. But my requirement is i need to communicate the same combination without disturbing HMI . I want to go on CPU side. As discussed in thread there is no option in my TIA Portal (It is a trial version V13) "Permit access with PUT/GET ........" as in attachments.But i find the instructions in instruction tree. can i use it without selecting the option in hardware configuration? pakplc Experienced Member Joined: 4/16/2015 Last visit: 6/3/2024 Posts: 35 Rating: (7)	Sorry for late answer, I think following will help you. You can only use Tia portal v13 with ver4.0 cpu. If you have Ver 11 hmi program available , then please upgrade hmi to v12 using prosave utility (available in tia portal v13 directory as hmi tools.), then you can download hmi program tia portal v13 support Ver 11hmi program, and Ver 3. Cpu programs. hope this will work pakplc

GaJEnDrA D S Bronze Member Joined: 8/9/2011 Last visit: 11/1/2023 Posts: 324 Rating: (19)	Hi My V11 HMI project is communicating with V13 CPU (V4.0) without any update on HMI if you convert all the symbolic tags to absolute. But the problem is i have HMIs at so many customers . If i want to supply them new CPU -Ver4.0 as a replacement i will have to update HMI also which is need to be avoided.So I am asking can I do anything in CPU like Hardware configuration, or Program itself? Can i use PUT / GET instructions ? If so, is there any sample program regarding how to use them for HMI communication?. There are programs for exchanging data between CPUs using PUT / GET instructions but not for CPU to HMI. Thanks
