 Today morning the screen was OK by it's own. but when i tried to switch it on / off   for couple of times , the problem again came.

I think the problem due to HW  failure in the electronic card of the panel.

Send the panel to "Siemens repair center"

1. Can you just open the panel and check the Display cable.

2. Arrange it properly if bend or loose.

3. if still the problem stays . Send it to siemens.

Please note that after opening the panel, you will lose the warranty.

     I am facing one problem with KTP600 Basic Mono DP , While working on it and testing i found the Screen goes upside down and even the letters goes mirror image.  The whole screen went Inverted as well as mirror imaged.  

    But the button position remains same, i.e  even though your button appears down ( after fault) it can be operated from its original position.  Is this Software fault or Hardware ??

   I am planning to send the HMI To SEIMENS for service but just want to confirm that this has nothing from software side. 

 I hope your hardware under warranty, I think there internal hardware problem so you should send it to Siemens .

If it under warranty don't try to open yourself.

I have faced same problem and i open back panel from it.

clean it with cloth and remove all display cable and attached it again tightly and it works for me...!!!

You can also try this...!!!

I agree with this answer.
There will always be doubt even if you do sort out the problem yourself.

If not under warranty, then there are things worth trying.
But again having/leaving a faulty unit at a customer is bad for business.

Have you tried to check the display cable connection. Please check it because if it is the problem then it could not be solved by os update 

The final solution for it will be the belt of display needs to be changed if it is due to the cable fault

Dear I know it well as I have the same problem few days back . The problem was getting solved if i just try to open the hmi remove the display cable and reinsert it and power it on the problem gets solved

But after some days it gets inverted again

So found the same hmi from s*** and replaced the cabel and now its working first class
