KTP700 basic with wincc v13 sp1 upd2.

 Hello Experts,

Here i am using KTP700 basic with wincc v13 sp1 upd2.

when i downloading my program, the wincc/tia asking to downgrade the touch panel.

please help what could be the reason or wrong.

2) It does not work that way.

The recipe is a group of certain structured elements. If should values of those elements at some point to change, this is done through selecting one of the more data records

If we look for some similarities with Microsoft Excel then:

Recipe = worksheet

Elements = column(s)

Data Record = row(s)

3) Note to the answer above:

ExportDataRecords and ImportDataRecords are not FB-s for KTP700 -  than for the PLC.

Before ImportDataRecords recipe files (in CSV format) should to be uploaded to the PLC-WEB server using web browser. Equally can be downloaded after ExportDataRecords (I tested and works fine)

Soon I need to finish one project with the new 2nd generation panel. I intend to try  transfer recipes using USB memory stick. The brochure says that this is possible.

Transferring recipes using standard SD card on the OP177 I have already made 5 years ago. I hope that this will also work in a similar manner.

I think you need to perform an OS update:

how do you do an "Operating system update" (OS update) or "Reset to factory settings" on operator panels?

or check the versionn which is projected in TIA for the Panel.

If is a version < 13.0.1.x then update the FW Version of the Panel in the project.

click on the Panel -> right click-> properties -> Change device/version

Here you can look if you have the latest Image selected.

Sorry to forgot to mention that the brightness setting is missing from the panel after downgrading.

now after updating the TIA to SP1 update4, the brightness setting is back.
