Hello, 

I went to update my image on my HMI with Tiaportal V18 but i dont find the right image.

Now ist it the V15.1 so i went to upgrade to V17. When i want to upgrade with Tia V18 i have the fault :  Download has failed due to missing panel image. Please install the missing panel images. Refer to documentation.,

I found a update but its for my Tia V17, so now is this image V17.0007.

If you read the note is this also avaible fot V18 but i dont now how i do upgrade my tiaV18 with this

Could you show the forum by means of screen capture what message you are getting. Make also 100% sure that the part number of the product correspond to what is used in the project.

The reason i want to update is that i have no connection between plc and hmi: faultcode:  Valeu could not be written to plc. Error 190011

I just made a test program in tia V17 and I have no problem here between the PLC and HMI

It is the first time we use Tia V18, before always we use tia V17.

The problem may be that the PLC is set to use secure HMI communications. Go to the PLC hardware configuration under the security option and switch that off. Recheck the communication.

You want to say: communication mode to TIA Portal and HMI?  see picture

The Wincc is not finding the firmware version specified in the project. The last firmware version is V17. You can set inside Wincc the version of the HMI to be the same as the version in your device. Set the firmware of the device to V17 and install the HMI images on your PC.

We are stuck at this point. There is no V18 firmware. (Does the software claim there is?) The development has stopped at V17. To demonstrate I show you a screen capture from TIA Portal V19, since I do not have V18.

The KTP700 Basic HMI is going to be phased out in the near future. It will be replaced by the MTP700 using the Wincc Unified software. This replacement is not a drop-in replacement. Consider getting trained up for using the Unified system as soon as it is convenient for you.
