I thought it means that your editing does not affect to objects on a hidden layer, but if I press CTRL+A (or select menu Edit>Select All) all objects (and I really mean ALL objects) are selected. Also those on a hidden layer. I think this is a bug?! I'm using Tia 11 SP 2 update 5. I tried WinCC 7.0 Sp3 too and there selection does not affect to objects on a hidden layer.
