rajasekhar Advanced Member Joined: 1/22/2006 Last visit: 10/8/2020 Posts: 73 Rating: (0)	Sir, Thanks for the info...but i am not able to establish the connection between plcsim with wincc...I have prepared a project and then i made a project with same name in simatic manager....opened the plcsim....downloaded all the blocks with mpi address 2...in wincc i have mentioned this address 2 in mpi... Then I don't know how to proceed further...when i run the wincc application....i could not see any bit change in plcsim...please advice me...Also I installed simatic net... thanks in advance

I have gone the FAQ "How can you link WinCC to S7 PLCSIM?" In this FAQ I could not understand the following statement: Under starting Step 7 applications: point No.4 reads like "Insert an OS in the project" What is the abbrevation of OS? Thanks in advance..

It´s recommended to install first STEP7 and then WinCC. if you should decide to deinstall, I´d deinstall STEP7 and WinCC inlcude the corresponding regkeys http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/189025 nemo
