The first thing that I notice is the FieldRead & FieldWrite data types of Byte. I think it should be "Char" if you are working with character data. Where did your library function copystringtoarray come from? The subject indicates copystringtoarray, but I am not sure which FB is giving you problems.

Set the Enable Bit and enter, from where to where the array shall be read out. e.g. from 0 to 53. At the output you have to enter the target string. 2. Open the FB and search for network 3. At the FieldRead Block you have to enter your array. e.g. "YourArray.Byte[0]" regards
