Library SIWAREX WP231 for S7 1200 does not work properly?

The module has WP231 FW 1.1.0 and the CPU 1214 FW 2.2. When I go online with TIA portal V13, some values such as the limits (DR6) are not set by the PLC, and those that do not appear in the WP231. Even the status of the inputs and outputs are always displayed in false even if the module WP231 are true. The value of the weighing instead is correct. Who can give me some advice? I hope my post is understandable. I apologize for the bad english. thanks

Try the exact same library and project in V12 SP1 with latest update and GSD. See if it behaves properly. Was this an upgraded project or a built from scratch V13 project? If it was V11 or V12, and then upgraded, I would suspect the internals of the project are corrupted and you have to recreate the project in V13. Luckily you can just drag and drop most everything to the new V13 project if that is indeed what you need to do. You can also send your project to Support Requestfor evaluation. It may be a known upgrade issue, or you may need new firmware in your WP231, or a different library revision, or even a slightly different communications configuration. Post your results.

I have tried both to create a new project using the example siemens. I created a new project with both TIA V13 UPD5 and TIA V12 SP1 . In both cases, the CPU had FW2.2. My doubt is to have the form WP231 with FW 1.1. Tia portal in the form WP231 is indicated with FW 1.0. I do not know if this can affect. I also tried the library with FW4, (I do not have a CPU with FW4) but I wanted to try the library, unfortunately when I compile it asks me the password of the library. I have a CPU with FW3, I can just do a test with this CPU. have a nice evening

(It is not enough to change only the values into the DB.) On which addresses in the DB are you looking to see the status of the inputs and outputs. Best regards Siwarexi

After that you have to send the DR06 (=datarecord 6) from the DBto the WP231 module. This happens by executing the command “4006” (4006 = 4000 (=Write a datarecord to the WP231) + 6 (=DR-number)). Please do the following three steps: 1. Write “4006” at the address DBW464. 2. Set the trigger-Flag DBX466.0 3. After executing the command take a look at the addresses: - DBX466.2 (=command finished OK) and - DBX466.3 (=command finished with error) One of these flags get the state TRUE If the flag DBX466.2 (=command finished OK) is TRUE: the command was executed with OK If the flag DBX466.3 (=command finished with error) is TRUE: the command was executed with an error Please see also the attached file. Only for your information: If you want to read the DR06 from the WP231 to the DB you have to execute the command “2006” (2006 = 2000 (=Read a datarecord from the WP231 to the DB) + 6 (=DR-number)).
