You may find the procedure for adjusting an absolute encoder in the manual "Start-Up Guide 840D/810D/611D" ( Start-Up Guide 840D/810D/611D). Here, in the chapter 6.9.6 you may find what you are looking for. Short: Move axis to a well known position. Set in MD 34100 REFP_SET_POSITION the value for the "well known position". Set MD 34210 ENC_REFP_STATE to 1 (0 = no set / 1 = I want to set / 2 = all done - is set). Simulate referencing (go to REF mode, select axis, press + key on MCP). MD 34210 should change to 2. TEST the axis by moving to another known position. If the machine crash something in the way, you did something wrong. If not, you are lucky. If your machine have also Safety Integrated: Disable "User acknowledgement" before and ask someone else to set it after. As described in the machine manufacturer (OEM) manual. |
