Hello Daniel, In my opinion the MP277 does not have a RS232 interface. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26011939/td See attachment (From catalog ST80) for the cable and connector to use. Best regards, Wizard AttachmentC:\st_80_extract.pdf (254 Downloads) |

Hi dchartier, What about the cables that I purchased from SIEMENS earlier? Can it be used? I got that from one of the forums that a gentleman had successfuly resolved his problem by using that cable. He had the similar configuration as mine. TQ. B.rgds. Jonah |

Hi Wizard, Yes. I did set according to that configuration. Could it be anything wrong with my configuration file? TQ. Jonah |

Hi Jonah Lau, I guess you have set Connection parameters right. The only thing you can change is the Stop Bits, have you already tried? Which port in CPU is used for communication with panel? (Is it SI1) Best regards, Wizard |

Hi Wizard, I haven't tried the stop bit yet. I'm using the SI1. Shall I try the stop bit? TQ. B.rgds. Jonah |

Hello Jonah Lau, Yes, please try it. I'm running out of options. Perhaps you should start a Support Request Best regards, Wizard |
