Hello; This is a quote from another forum member, Phantom75, anexcellent S5 programmer (see the following post): /tf/WW/en/Posts/12597 There are no direct replacement instructions for LIR/TIR. One of the main reasons for using these instructions in S5 was due to a addressing limitation of 255. So, for example, to address and manipulate excessively long DB's (>255), we had use these instructions for absolute addressing. Since there are no such addressing limitations in S7, the S5 program should be replaced by an equivalent program using "normal" statements, rather than do a instruction by instruction replacement.
