I've a TIA 13 project with a serveral S7-1200 CPU's linked together with ethernet.

There's a PC with WinCC 7.3 in which we want to see several data from a few CPUs, all of them have symbolic DBs and it's no good idea to reload programs with absolute addressing, therefore we must access vars with symbolic method.

I know is possible, online, to read all var data but I'm corrently at office developing the project, not at site.

How can import var data from TIA portal project so I can develop offline the project???

I see, at S7-1200/1500 channed that there's an option to import bin file... perhaps is it a way to do it?

A possible solution:

Simulate the PLC-programs one after the other... 

Connect in WinCC and save the file.

Copy the file to the "real" WinCC system and continue the configuration of the tags.

You can configure the controller offline without being connected to it. To do so, you save the loaded AS symbols in a file.

You can then load the AS symbols to the tag management in the offline project.

you're right. I recently discovered that the ONLY way to enter symbolic var names is that they already exist in the list you're indicating, which must be imported first from a real/simulated CPU.

If the symbols exists in that list (which as you say can saved in a bin file) you can type the complete name (DB + var symbol)  or select it from list.

A great brass medal for Siemens WinCC developers. Worst system is difficult to imagine.

Evaluating alternatives I tried to move the WinCC 7.3 project to WinCC Professional 13 (ie TIA Portal, deadly slow and unstable as all of us know) but, surprise, it only migrates WinCC 7.2 projects, not 7.3.

That's incredible, every day passes the blunder is bigger.
