Local Time vs System Time

Occhioreffo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear all, in a system with S7-1215 cpu and KTP600, I want give the operator the possibility to change the time. The problem is: my local time is Central Europe (UTC+1) so when I read from the plc I have: - local time = my time - system time = UTC time When I want to manage the plc time I can only write the system time so I have to: - the operator edit the new wanted time - the plc calculate the difference between local time and system time - add this difference (1 hour in my example) to the new wanted time - write the new want time with correction (1 hour) to the plc system time It works, but pheraps someone has a simpler solution... Occhioreffo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	At this moment I don't have cpu and panel to check it, but it's seems the same thing: in this example the operator writes the new wanted time (local) but in the plc WR_SYS_T writes the plc system time, so after a while you will see a new wrong local time in the panel, because the plc writes the new wanted (local) time in the system time. Maybe in KTP1000 you can set the regional local time (in KTP600 not I'm sure) Maybe there is a difference in the template page: in this example the date and time visualised is linked to "system time" (system of panel or plc?), instead in my project I linked it to the DB with "time_local_READ" DTL value.
