jrogac Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I downloaded a sample project for user defined web page from this forum. I didn't notice that this project set a write password to my plc. Now i'm unable to download....because i don't know that password. I still have the project. Is there any way to remove the password without the use of memory card. thx guys

BryanG2001 Posts: 113 Rating: (21)	Depends on your software version and I don't know if the password will stop you. In V11SP2upd5 go Online and Diagnostics, then to Functions and choose Reset to factory. Attachment ResetToFactory.jpg (72 Downloads)

BryanG2001 Posts: 113 Rating: (21)	That is very silly. From a distant memory, with the S7-200 in the early days you had to enter a password of CLEARPLC, I can't try it now because I am in mid testing a program, but I will have a play when I get home. Maybe I will get lucky.
