LOD RELAY FILE TO LOR RELAY

Can anyone tell me that relay setting file of LOD type relay can be transferred to LOR relay , 

where R= IEC61850 , D= modbus

I already tried updating the MLFB of LOD to LOR using object properties and then i initialized it data transfer starts but write at the end it gives error "trying to connect to device as connection is disconnected" then i click ok and again it gives error could not transfer parameter set to device.

Then i updated the parameter set , then also it gives same error

Is it possible to transfer LOD relay file to LOR relay.  If it is then how. If not then why cannot be transferred
