Log onto 0BA8 from external GSM connection

Hi,

did you ever try to log onto the 0BA8 from an external GSM connection? I can log in if I am within the same LAN, but not from the outside world

I managed the NAT configuration in my router mapping the external connection to the LOGO IP and 8080 port, but cannot make it work.

Could any one make it work?

Maybe I went too fast on this: at this point I can only access the 0BA8 logos in my LAN from within the same LAN, by typing the IP address on the web browser.

My big problem is that I cannot access the logos from outside the LAN even from a PC. I understood that when accessing from outside I must access the 0BA8 through port 8080, but this doesn’t work. I have settled the proper NAT configuration, but nothing.

I assume its is not a router problem, since I can access a web server in a PC in that LAN from outside.

Should I set any special configuration in my 0BA8 to be able of accessing it from outside the LAN?

Yes, the checkbox is marked by default and I cannot deselect it (the same applies for the LOGO! TD control access (?)). The only acces controls I can check/uncheck are for LOGO! App and for the Web Server

Anyway, I assigned a password to the remote access and validated, but still nothing...

can you ping your devices from outside (Internet)?

+ Router IP
+ LOGO! 8 IP

If you cannot reach your router, then there is something wrong in general. If you only can not ping LOGO!8, then check all settings between your router and LOGO! 8.

Maybe your firewall blocks the port?

Hi,

I just found the problem. I had not defined the gateway IP on the LOGO IP settings. I could log from inside the LAN since the router was sending the packets to the LOGO IP, but not from outside since - I guess - the LOGO was not recognizing where the packets came from.
