Good Morning to every one, I would like to use the data logging capabilities of one S7-1214 to registrate almos 50 process parameters, and each minute configurate the new ftp funcionalitities to connect to a FTP server and upload the csv. file. I couldn´t go deep with the task yet but,is a way to link the csv file with the FTP_1200_CMD FB? FTP Communication with S7-1200 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/81367009 |

I do not believe this is possible on the s7-1200 as the plc program does not have access to the "file" system. It can read/write using the data logging instructions, but not the file itself. You might be able to write a very involved project to connect to the plc via the web server, and via tcp connection perform a download to a DB buffer, and then send it back out via ftp. That would be better done with a low-end s7-1500 perhaps. Regardless, I would suggest a Support Request |
