logging format

    I want to change the logging format in CSV . currently all the parameters logged simultaneously and it will be hard to figure out the values.

correct me if I'm wrong.

It sounds like you already log in CSV format but don't want the logged tags in the order

• a
• b
• c
• a
• b
• c

but in the order

• a
• a
• b
• b
• c
• c

You can't have the 2nd order because they are sorted by time.

But you can use separate logs with just one logged tag each, like:

Log1

• a
• a

Log2

• b
• b

Log3

• c
• c

You might be able to filter/sort the values in the csv if you want, for example, to use it in Excel or similar.
In a filtered column only the selected tag is visible and the others are not, but still in the file.

you can't change the format of the log itself while it's generated, but you can separate and reassemble parts afterwards.

What do you want to accomplish?

If you want to have like an Excel list for visualization you could use an Excel macro.

• Detect/select the number of tags: n
• Create a new worksheet. Create the columns time tag_1, tag_2 to tag_n by reading the n first rows and copy paste one after the other.
• Then take the time every n rows and write it in the time column in the new worksheet.
• Copy the values of the rows 1 to n into the coulmns 1 to n.

time1 | tag_n       | value_tag_n
