LOGO-0BA7 function_Stopwatch

Hello all,

my tests with the block "stop watchwatch" of the LOGO!-0BA7 showed following:

- The block output can take values of 0 to 65636 at every eligible unit of time (this is not either in the HB or in the on-line help indicated!)

- The parameter "time base" can be indicated in a text message. However, this is little useful because the entry of 7 signs grasps so that no appropriate representation of value and unitunit is possible! In addition a unitunit "msec" is spent in the attitudeattitude "10 msec" unfortunately. The value of the block exit (and the value advertisementadvertisement) does not correspond, however, to ms!.

- at the output range of values it would be very helpful for a value representation , if a corresponding date representationdate representation hh:mm:ss.xx0 was available optionally.

- The block-internal time base is to not 0,01 s at units of time "s", "m" and "h", however, but smaller, so that at the pin "En" blocks "stopwatch" headed for lead to different time end valuesend values in parallel at frequent ON/OFF!

Have a look at the circuits for this purpose in the file attachment:
Test_Stopuhr_01 (0BA7).lsc: show how with a trick by means of a block "switching delay" a time value advertisementadvertisement can occur via two units. In particular at the unit of 10 ms is so to announce only a duration of 32 s, however. That is due to the Ta parameter requiring a value handicaphandicap now unfortunately in the switching delay block in the ms unitunit although only a value solution of 10 ms occurs and although the unit place of the value handed over by reference is not rounded, but is cut off (as one can find easily through experiments). Duch the necessary multiplication of the output value of the block "Stop watchwatch" theirtheir range of values is not to be emptied now, however.

Test_Stopuhr_02 (0BA7).lsc: show now how with the aid of a block "analogous comparator" at least an advertisementadvertisement-duration of 65 s with a solution of 0,01 s is possible for time format ss:xx0 s by means of a further trick.

Test_Stopuhr_03 (0BA7).lsc: Now a DEMO is, as under observation of mine or g. findings a time indication about a maximum duration of 99 h and 59 m with a resolution of 0,01 s can be reached! (Comment: Connects once in the PC_Simulation into the "font 2" of the text message around a suitable date representationdate representation see...)

My upshot:
Times with a solution of 1/100 s are supposed to occur (better with the LOGO! ias fundamental not possible) the block "Stop watchwatch" is an essential relief opposite a circuitcircuit-technical solution, necessary for the 0BA6. At the other units of time it should be checked whether a circuitcircuit-technical solution is more useful where appropriate by means of impulse generatorimpulse generator and Zaehler(n)!
