Logo 0BA8 FS4 stopping

Hi,

I have observed strange behavior of Logo 0BA8 FS4 (FW 1.81.01).  I noticed that some analog measurements were stuck giving constant value to requests from S7 protocol.  The webserver was functioning and using SoftComfort 8.1 I was able to transfer the program from Logo to PC.

When transferring the program from PC to Logo the program seemed to start normally and the webserver was functioning.  The system responded to S7 requests. The analog measument AI1 changed to 0. But the Logo display prompted to "Download program" so the program was not running.  Cycling the power restored normal operation.

The system consists of the logic module 230RCE, digital i/o DM230R, analog input module AM2, power module 24/1,3A.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior?  What could be the explanation?

thank you for the tip.  I will test it.  But after power cycling the system started normal operation.

The main problem is why Logo and the analog measurements stuck in the first place.  The system had been running without problems since August 7 and stuck yesterday (about 52 days).  I have also two other systems with similar problem.

It seems to me too that this is a bug of FS4.

I have two LOGO!8 FS4's connected in a network and a Simatic HMI display control in a system. Still in developing stage. When I do online testing on the PC it connects and looks like it is online. Although the input from the HMI device to the PLC's works normal it does not reflect on the online testing PC screen. It did work in the beginning but now stopped.

Any ideas?

Update the firmware to the latest FS6 and check again, see Link
