LOGO 230RC Program lost

desmul24 Posts: 378 Rating: (73)	Dear dears, My client have LOGO 230RC with display, 8 Digital Inputs and 4 Digital Outputs. When I first look, no program on the LOGO so I wrote the program from the machine sequence (because I dont have the source code). I wrote the program on LOGO soft comfort by ladder diagram ( Just for simulation), I dont have interface cable so i converted and wrote on the keypad (control pannel). Then the program works fine and everything is as I expected. I attached here my program. My problems is after I turn off the power for one day and turn on, one line of the program at the Q1 is changed to I1-----[ Q1 I correct check all the system then i turn off the power for 10 min and turn on everything is fine but when i turn off for one day and turn on, the same problem happens at Q1. Could you please tell me how this problem happens? I get confused how only one line of the program is lost? thank you! Attachment Circuit Diagram1.zip (264 Downloads)

Marcjan Platinum Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 5697 Rating: (715)	Hello, This is not the normal behaviour of a Logo, the program can not be the cause but you can test with a simple program to besure, i think there is some memory problem, the program is put straight into eeprom. What is the type of the LOGO (0BAx) and how old is it? The other outputs do not show this behaviour? Regards, Marcjan

Something like that has happened to me twice (in two different Logos). Total lose of the programme after power off. Anyway, better than training anyone to write the prog. down everytime it gets lost would be trying to find an old memory for taht -0BA4 Logo!. You write the prog. in the Logo, transfer it to the Memory Card and can have it introduced in it slot. Everytime the logo powers up the program in the memory is passed to the internal memory of the Logo. The only problem should be finding a suitable memory because Im not sure the 'new' ones are valid for a -0BA4.... regards
