Logo 8 230 RCE Inputs and Outputs

Dear Sirs , 

i connected power supply 230 V AC to L1 ; N ; switch button to I1 (24 V DC) Logo (8 DI and 4 DO) and contactor to Q1 . 

In program Logo i used NO contact and relay coil ( Ladder diagram) . 

I download a program in Logo and started a program .

When i press switch button (24 V DC) the relay coil does not turn on .

Does have anyone an experience with Logo programing ? Why it does not turn on ?

When you have LOGO! 230, don't you need 230v input signals?

Where there may be a problem why the relay coil does not switch on ?

Can you see that input is coming in LOGO? I think Input is not high in LOGO.

24volt is to low, when you have 230v LOGO!

It is not possible to use 24V input signals with a 230V Logo controller. If you need 24V input signals, then change e.g. to a Logo 12/24RC and use an additional power supply 24V for the Logo controller AND the inputs.

You can use relay outputs as you want, with any voltage as described in the manual.

when i remove a push button I1 from Logo Siemens and NO contact from program then download a program in Logo Siemens the relay coil does turn on . If the Logo Siemens is 230 V AC , how the Logo Siemens can turn on the relay coil ?

It this a situation correct ? 

Is there allowed to connect I1 with 230 V AC and output Q1 ?

Your program is correct.

But you need at least 80 volt on input. to turn it on.
