Logo 8 Comfort closing when openning the program

Otobit Experienced Member Joined: 6/20/2010 Last visit: 12/9/2023 Posts: 78 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have comfort 8.3 version installed in my laptop (Windows 10 PRO) and when openning the program it gets closed just after showing the application welcome popup. I have tried to reinstall Windows from scratch, then installed 8.0 and it works, but when I install the 8.3 then I have the same problem. I have tried also to disable the Windows antivirus, just in case, but no luck. Any ideas, please? Thanks.

Is that new version LOGO! Soft Comfort 8.3 compatible to your computer. Check , what is the instalation location of installed "LOGOComfort_V8.3" (like: C:\Program Files\Siemens\LOGOComfort_V8.3) and then, the shortcut properties what you use, it points to a right startup file (like: C:\Program Files\Siemens\LOGOComfort_V8.3\LOGOComfort.exe). I have both versions of them on the computers and both working. I have experienced Win 10 Pro installed software under one user, will run sometimes halfway from another user . Hope this helps.

I have Windows 10 PRO (64 bits) fully up to date and I have checked I am using the right executable. It is so weird, because I have been working with 8.3 for some time already without any issue and suddenly it stopped working, even after having reinstalled Windows from scratch. I hope someone can give me a hand. Thanks.

I also made a memo to these geniuses after that. So, that maybe come a solution, that reason: your configured Win is fully updated. Is that also the real reason; but, never know if not test.
