LOGO 8 (input) & CMR (output)

RKBIS Gold Member Joined: 2/20/2014 Last visit: 6/21/2022 Posts: 394 Rating: (38)	HI there, I would like to know if there is any way i can get the LOGO CMR (status when there is an error at CMR) logged into the LOGO base module (by tracking the input status). I was thinking if i can connect the output of the CMR to the input of the LOGO base module. How can i achieve this? Can anyone help me out with this?

ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 6/27/2022 Posts: 27200 Rating: (3300)	I am not aware that you can query internal errors of the CMR and switch to a digital output of the CMR. The digital outputs of the CMR be switched on or off via SMS.

I would like log if there is any changes to the output of the CMR. For example, i was thinking if i can connect the output of the CMR to the input of the LOGO BM where when the output of the CMR is false the input of the BM is also false & etc. And then i want be able to log the data into the memory card in the LOGO BM so that i can know when there was an error on the CMR end which had resulted the output to go false. I hope you can understand what i am trying to say here. Thank you in advance.

Send to the CMR an SMS with which simultaneously an output of CMR is turned on and a bit in the base module. Identical SMS for switching off. then monitor the basic module the output of CMR by means of a digital input and the bit from the VM area in the same condition.
