Now i'am using an logo AB6 with 6ED1055-1MD-0BA1 to read 2 X PT100.

I would like tho change the logo to version 8 for the use of the webserver and data logging. In the specification of the expansion modules (logo8)  i read that you have to use 6ED1055-1MD-0BA2 to read PT100.

What is the reason you cannot use version AB1, or is it still possible to connect het previous version.

The new logo 0BA8 is completely different as the 0BA0 to 0BA7. The 0BA8 can only work with the expansion modules the new 8 series, not with expansion modules of the series before.
Also, the older logos (0BA0-0BA7) may not work with the extension modules of the new 8 series.
The part numbers of extension modules of the new 8 series end with 0BA2, by the TDE is 0BA1.
