2700Hp Logo! Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Dear experts, I need to give a current loop output signal from my logo! But the manual says the AM2 AQ is only 0-10V... But I'm sure I've read somewhere a 0-20mA unit is also available.. Does anyone have a model reference for the current loop version so I can look up the details? I don't seem to see one on the Siemens website either, but perhaps I've just missed it. Thank you in anticipation for your assistance.

2700Hp Logo! Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Helmut, thanks for responding. Manual downloaded from the supplier's website this morning.... Dated 02/2005 Ref A5E00380835-01. It doesn't appear to differ from my paper copy. Is there a more up to date one, if so where do I find it? Tried the siemens website, but that seems to send me round in circles when you start asking for documents? Thanks

2700Hp Logo! Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Is the new AM2AQ module with current loop output part ref: 6ED1055 - 1MM00 - 0BA1? and the old module without current loop:6ED1055 - 1MM00 - 0BA0? My supplier tells me he can oly get the 0BA0 version, is he mistaken or should I try another supplier! Just enter: www.Siemens.com/......... ...... is the product name your looking for information. In your case: www.siemens.com/logo This I have tried and it realy works good. Also for other automation systems like S7-200,1200,300,400, and so on. This information realy saves me a lot of money. Hope this helps

Your suppliershould update his website - this makes sense after 5 years . 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA0 is the old module -> output 0...10V 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA1 is the new module -> output 0...10V, 0...20mA, 4...20mA And the supplier should be able to get the new module, as other suppliers are able, too. Perhaps he wants to sell his old stock first ? Please have a look at: How does the analog output of the expansion module AM2 AQ behave depending of the internal value?
