LOGO Diferent Voltage Setup ?

hevactrevor Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I was recently faced with this same problem , I noticed that there is a extra connecting plastic piece that physically inhibits connecting 240v expansion modules to low voltage main modules ..but being desperate to try it anyway I cut off this extra plastic finger and connected it ....guess what ...it worked perfectly ...problem solved . Altho I understand siemens would not endorse this procedure .

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, if you do this, then you generate a electrical isolation problem. The LOGO! AM2 has a electrical isolation inside so one way is allowed. But according the manual the other is not. If there is a porblem later on you are responsible. Thats the reason for the plasik coding.
