I'm using logo to control cooling system, and when some safety function is trigered I need to know, where is a problem... I think that best way is to send a report (IO status, maybe some flags) via e-mail... Thanks for replay.

AutoGen_901087 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello I bought a 0BA8 last autumn and assumed (without checking) that is was possible to send email. I would hope that Siemens also realise that SMS is a thing of the past. I have tried to get this true by the Swedish telephone support, but it seems that no-one cares. My support contact has been in contact with the Logo product manager and he says that very few have asked for this function. He thinks that it is enough with other Siemens products have this feature. We need more people to ask for this, please help.

But we can only help if you tell us exactly what you want to do. A logo can not send e-mails or SMS, for which one requires accessories.

(you need airtime and mobile signal) Other option is Node Red on IoT 2000 Node Red running on a Raspberry Pi / Ardinio / Beagle bone or other Linux device. You can even send/receive messages via Twitter and other social media! https://youtu.be/WxUTYzxIDns its a long video, but VERY informative

Emad Sibai Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I would also strongly recommend using Siemens IOT2020 or IOT 2040 with Node Red installed for sending e-mails and maybe SMS either using an SMS gateway hardware or an online SMS service provider.
