LOGO! Hours Counter

Faranak Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I'm new andhave a problem with a description about hours counter in LOGO! soft comfort help : ' you can only transfer the hours counter of a LOGO! that is not equipped with a red module, because you delete the LOGO! program if you remove this module." I'm confused, what does it mean by saying not equipped with a red module??

This module is applied for LOGO 0BA1, 0BA2 and 0BA3. Isn't transferring the hours counter just like reading it? I'm just getting familiar with this device and programming it and have not chosen any type yet but I think I'll work with 0BA6.

Transfering hours counter means reading the current ( actual values ) from the device. If you remove the red module you have removed your program thus you can not read the values of hours counter because your hours counter are on the program (your program on memory card (red module)). Faranak I'm just getting familiar with this device and programming it and have not chosen any type yet but I think I'll work with 0BA6. If you starter with LOGO, I suggest you to select the latest OBA7. It has many new features, like Ethernet Interface (you dont need extra adapter or special cable to interface, upload, download or monitor), UDF (User Defined Functions), Easy networking b/n LOGO devices ... a lot more new features compared to the old one. Here is the new LOGO 0BA7 manual. Hope Helps,
