LOGO! Output Wiring Question

Darren B-K Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	On the 2 output terminals, does it matter which way round you wire to these. In the manual it says the +24V should go to the right hand side terminal and the load connected to the left hand side terminal then down to neutral. I have connected my +24V to the left hand side terminal and my load to the right hand side then to neutral. Is this a problem? The reason Im asking is becasue my output will not de energise. Could this be the reason ? Program all works fine in simulation, so must be a hardware issue. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Darren

That means it's a Relay type with clock. If that is correct it doe'n't matter how you connect the outputs( functionally that is) On your TD allso in the box you can see if the output is high. Working in simulation does not mean that it will work in a real logo. Try a simple program input to output and test again. Best regards, Marcjan

Darren B-K Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	I found the problem. It was my programing. I was using the F1 button on the logo TD as an on/off switch and must of pressed it twice, as when it was off I was not able to de engergise the output Q1. Not much of an on/off switch then ! It was in my haste to get my new plc control box up and running. Program attached for reference in case anyone else makes a similar mistake. If I didnt press it twice it means the F1 button didnt latch even though it was set as a switch. Thanks for your comments though. Attachment easy piston cycle.zip (192 Downloads)
