LOGO!Barbarian Posts: 173 Rating: (95)	Hi Lebanon2010 There are many many many USB to Serial cable converters on the market. About 90% of them work fine with LOGO! There was one that Siemens recommended that you could order on-line from some cable-shop in Germany. You can find such converters in almost any computer shop. WARNING ON INSTALLATION ====================== If the PC that you are installing such a cable onto already has lots of VIRTUAL COM Ports (like those created by Bluetooth drivers), then it is recommended to first remove the devices (remove physically & remove the drivers from Windows & re-boot without them). Then install the USB-Serial/COM converter so that it gets a LOW COM port number from Windows. (anything under COM 6 is usually OK) Then re-install the Bluetooth things and other devices that created virtual COM ports. Every time you use such a converter - ALWAYS plug it into the SAME USB port, otherwise, windows will again assign a new COM port number that could be quite high (I have seen COM port numbers up to 29!) Then in LOGO! Soft Comfort --> Tools --> Options --> Interface, select the COM port number that has been assigned to the converter ( you will find this number under START --> Settings --> Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> Ports) But to do all of this, you must have full admin rights.
