LOGO!Barbarian Posts: 173 Rating: (95)	Hey all! The " LOGO! Power " supplies are GREAT! They have the same profile (shape) as the LOGO!, so they fit nicely together in ordinary distribution panels (in houses etc). They are also universal voltage input from 85V AC to 264V AC (max), without any switch or jumper settings, so you cna use them ANYWHERE and they are certified for RESIDENTIAL applicaitons 'cos they are 'mains hum free' - they make no electrical noise, unlike other switched mode power supplies. They are also really stable and you can tweak up the voltage just a little bit if you suspect long line losses over distances to other 24V DC devices. They have also just been reduced in size but increased in efficiency - check out www.siemens.com/sitop SITOP are the more industrial range of supplies with higher current ratings and even thr options of some add-on modules in the same design. You cna use some of these modules with the LOGO! Power, but then they dont look the same! SITOP modular also have some simple n/c or n/o terminals to get the status to a higher order PLC to tell it how the supply is doing or when it is 100% ready to take the load. Hope this helps!
