Start LOGO! Soft Comfort V 8.0 as an administrator. Then Help> Update Center. Select Internet as source. Accept the suggested Internet address "http://www.siemens.com/logo-update". Select the service pack for V8.1 and follow the instructions. |

Hello, I downloaded V 8.1 as follows: Step 1. Doing nothing with actual version installed. No exclusion, no erasion, no nothing. Step 2. Going to the Download page. Link below or posted by William. Same target. Step 3. Downloading according Operation System and platform, and including Java. No ChangeLog was necessary or asked during or after the download. Results: I have now two softwares installed. The old and the new one: V8.0 and V8.1. See picture. Advantage: I have old version with some language and V8.1 in English. If you want to change the language Siemens says: For the installation of language files or the Service Pack, please use the "Update Center" within the Help menu of LOGO! Soft Comfort. Warning: I tried to dowload a language pack but Logo SoftConfort showed a message "Found not information......." I am asking Siemens for a help. A don't receive an answer at a moment. The LSC V8.1 online help provides the following:

Hello, The problem about language packs is that V8.1 does not bring the same options as V 8.0. In this case, many users will lost these language possibilities: Czech, Hungarian and Portuguese I am waiting for a answer from Siemens if these languages pack are definetely discontinued. The fact is the number of languagens are been reduced. Regards, |
