logo to card error

mike123a Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	i am trying to update my program, i have done my changes on the PC andI can download my program from the pc to logo with no problems. i now need to put the new program on my memory card. the software i am using is V6.01 the logo is 6ED1 052-1MD00-0BA6 the memory card is 6ED1 056 5CA00-0BA0 the memory card does have a program on it and it will load that program into the logo from switch on, it will also download the program by sending from card to logo. when i send it the other way logo to card it asks me to confirm yes or no. when i select yes the message on the screen is 'ERROR' press ESC does anybody have any ideas to what i am doing wrong.

mike123a Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi cdrshort the cards i have are a light brown/yellow colour since my last post i havehad a little play i have a logo that is 0BA5 and i can read and write to the cards on this i can take the program from this card and put it into the 0BA6 logo, it will run from the card on the 0BA6 logo, you can also download from card to logo and it appears to go into memory, however when you take the card out the program is not in the memory of the logo. i have tried this with 2 different 0BA6 logos and i get the same results.

ring24h Gold Member Joined: 11/11/2008 Last visit: 8/12/2022 Posts: 719 Rating: (62)	Hello mike 123a, your light brown Module can be written by LOGO! 0BA4 and 0BA5, the Model 0BA6 only can read it. If you want write to Card with 0BA6 you must use the violet or dark brown (with Backup Battery) Card. See this Data Sheet: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/17907754 The Memory Card will be replace the internal Memory of the LOGO! and is used only at runtime, will say, when the Card is unplugged, the Program is on Card and not in LOGO! For copy protect use a password in your .lsc then the Card (if the PW is unknown) only can used or erased by a LOGO! with Display. I hope this helps. Best regards ring24h

Version (0BAx, R?...) und die Spannung (12/24, 24, 230) angegeben würde Über den Beiträgen gibt es hier Bewerten und Bedanken Buttons die meiner Meinung nach viel zu selten benutzt werden wenn man sich mal anschaut was manch einer hier an Zeit investiert.

mike123a Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	thanks ring24h i have ordered 6ED1 056-1DA00-0BA0 on friday from RS so hopefully they should be here tomorrow and i will give them a try and let you know the outcome. looking at your link that number correlates to the violet memory card. so fingers crossed this will solve my problem
