LOGO! web editor - Why analog values show the decimal point?

First experimental project and the problem why of analog values show the decimal point ??? Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, LOGO! cannot handle floating point at all. For a LOGO! program you can select a decimal point for a value to be shown in a text message. In the LWE it is a limitation not a bug as Ixo mentioned. The only support of floating point in LOGO! is to convert floating to Integer and Interger to floating point. This was implemented to support foating point values comming from a Modbus device for example. But as I wrote LOGO! don't support floating point at all. Hope this helps

If I can artificially set decimal places in the message text on the web server, then this should also be possible on the user's own pages. The left-justified display of the analog values in the user-specific pages of the web server is probably not a bug for you either. It's a big bug for me.

And funny fun! So it is like TDE or logo to set the position where I want to have a decimal point !!! so easy!! Ma with somebody at home 235stC ???? I do not have 23.5stC For what kind of web server is that. FrantaM

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, what you want is different than what Ixo adn I discuss. On LOGO! Display, TDE display and the TDE based web-Server you can show decimal places. To do this open the properties of the FB and select for the value you need how many decimal places you need. Please note: not all FB supports decimal places. The selected decimal places will be shown on: + LOGO! Display + TDE display + TDE based Webserver But it has no influence and will not be shown in user defined Web-Server. See the example and open the properties of B004 her decimal places is supported. In B001 it is not. Hope this helps Attachment decimal.zip (140 Downloads)

I solve the decimal point in the web editor.Thus in the user-configurable web server.And there I miss it. I do not think of a floating decimal point but a solid decimal point. As with logos. How do you imagine using without it ???? FrantaM
