lost simatic groups

Maarten Platteau Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have a problem, On a pc where I have wincc installed, I accidently removed the simatic user groups. They where removed when I tried to make a domaincontroller out of the pc. I managed to get the sql groups back by reinstalling sqlserver 2005. After reinstalling wincc 6.2, the simatic groups did not reappear. Because these groups are not present, I can no longer open a wincc project. Does anyone have an idea on how to get them back? thx

Maarten Platteau Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I'm not sure what you mean, but in my understanding: When creating a usergroup that group gets a unique ID. Everything that is linked to that group is actually linked to the ID, not the name. So creating SIMATIC HMI, ... will create a new group and not restore the old one. Correct me if i'm wrong Thx
