relu18 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Expert I have Siemens M7 388-4 CPU. The cpu starts normally but after 1 hours it will automatically go to stop and give SF error on cpu . The CPU restarts automatically and after restart its on normally. But again after few hours it again go to stop and gives SF error then we connect the plc with PG and go to online and check the cpu diagnostic buffer and there is following error. fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/12/2024 Posts: 3020 Rating: (1054)	Hellorelu18 Apart from the Stop in Event 11 (which was caused by "stop switch being activated")I think teh description for events 2,7 & 16 say it pretty clear:Power failure! I suggest you check thepower supply and/or its connections and hope this helps.

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/12/2024 Posts: 3020 Rating: (1054)	In that case I can only speculate that you have a faulty M7 CPU (or perhaps bad internal connections on its power supply terminals). Do you have a spare M7 (I hope, as they are hard to come by nowadays)?
