MAG 5000 flowmeter

oishi Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, every body. I have some MAG 5000, they have an error about flow. some of them measure faster than standar device, another lower than standar device. The standar device is a MAG 5000 too but it not error. So, anybody help me? thanks alot I guest, they have problem with OPAM tlc2272 or AD820. help me please, i live in Viet Nam

The error of measure can be produce for bad installation, or bad selection of instrument. If you select the flow meter, do you need use the program "Product Sizing". This program is used for select the correct flow meter, for example the flow meter is select for a minimum flow, all instrument have the minimum scale value with acceptable error (in the Mag 5000 0,5%).The product sizing in the web is https://pia.khe.siemens.com/index_electromagnetic_flowmeters-11382.htm Download https://www.pia-selector.automation.siemens.com/scripts/wgate/zstore3/!?~okcode=EV_INIT-EV_IPC&prod_id=GWK--7MF1003&~template=frameset&~language=EN The installation is very important. I said that i use the standard device in fine. i think there is problem with OPAM on the mainboard, do you think so? ps: the standard device and error device use the same sensor and the same station

Hello oishi, Youshould return the transmitterMag5000 to Siemens service centre then they will check it for you( free of charge if device isstillin warranty range ). Otherwise you have to scrap the faulty and buy the new one. Important:Do not scrap the faultytransmitter by yourself, if you return your device (goods used less than 10 years old) then theSiemens will give you at least30-40% credit when they want to offeryou for replacement unit.
