magflow 3100 sensor + mag 5000 transmitter

PILearner Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	we installed a magflo 3100 sensor of size 4" along with a mag 5000 signal converter on a waste water line. During installation and commissioning it worked fine. Now after a week the display of the signal converter is not working. What can be the possible causes?

Hi, Sun damaged , Water damaged, Electrical damaged, you need toidentify the signal convertor faulty or sensor faulty or both. Is it compact or remote ? The flow meter isIndor or Outdoor ? The flow meter above water level or below water level Pottedor not potted ? - check the cables & check the connection plate - check the power - check the signal convertor ( if you have a spare unit ) - check the sensor by a multimeter Regards chook
