Hello karl; Here is the description of these 5 bytes in the Sitrans FM Mag 6000 Profibus manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/17593623 4.5.3 Configuration module formats Data type 101 (5 bytes) VALUE (FLOAT32) STATUS (BYTE) The first part is the VALUE (4 bytes) in the format FLOAT32 according to IEEE 754. The second part is the STATUS indicating the quality of the VALUE. The different meanings of the bit array are explained in Appendix A. Basically, move the first 4 bytes to a REAL register in your program, use it as a floating point variable. Examine the bit code in the Status byte to check for different errors on the profibus module. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
